Pathet Lao movement proclaimed.
-Pathet Lao joined force with Viet Minh to oppose the French
-Pathet Lao was a communist, nationalist, political movement & organization in Laos. The organization under this name first appeared in 1950, when it was adopted by Lao forces under Prince Souphanouvong, who joined the Viet Minh's revolt against the colonial French authorities in Indochina during the First Indochina War.
